After successfully establishing Rashid Latif Medical College, Nursing School and Paramedical College, Rashid Latif Institute of Allied Health Sciences is being launched with 6 above mentioned programmes in Allied health Sciences from 2013. Health care opportunities are not just limited to doctors. In addition to physicians there are allied health professionals, whose job span many areas of health care. The two words “Allied Health” stand for the largest group of health care providers. The Allied Health Professionals are needed globally; they get well paid jobs in Pakistan, Middle East and also in developed countries. They are highly respected, essential and critical to the healthcare delivery system.
Admission Procedure of Allied Health Sciences

Eligibility

  • F.Sc. Pre-medical (with 50% marks in science subjects for Physical Therapy 60% in science subjects) or Equivalent Qualification.
  • Students having qualification of F.Sc. Pre-engineering (with 60% marks in science subjects) are eligible only for admission in B.Sc. (Hons) Medical Imaging Technology.
  • Age between 17 to 25 years.

Final Selection

Selection of students is made on merit. The selection decisions by the institution's administrations are final and non-negotiable.

Interview

Names of short-listed candidates will be posted on the Institute's notice board and website. Students should ensure themselves if they have been short-listed and confirm the day, date and time of their interview.

Classification of Student Categories

  • Local Pakistani Students: Students born, raised and educated in Pakistan.
  • Overseas Pakistani Students: Children of expatriate Pakistani families
  • Foreign Students: Carrying foreign passport/Green Card
  • The College admits all three categories of students on merit basis. Applicants compete within their category. The tuition fee paid by each category is different.
